XL Indosat overtaking on Target 2010

PT Excelcomindo Pratama Tbk (XL) can capture target PT Indosat Tbk’s position as the second largest cellular operator in Indonesia in 2010. To achieve these targets XL continues to boost revenues and increase the number of subscribers growth.

XL President Director Hasnul Suhaimi said, XL income until the end of 2009 could reach Rp13 trillion. This figure is up 7 percent compared to 2008 revenues of $ XL Rp12, 1 trillion.

The increase in income can be achieved, along with the increasing number of customers that currently XL has gone through a number 26 million.

“In the semester I/2009 XL only reached 24.7 million. We have about 26 million numbers. So we are optimistic that a minimum income to Rp13 trillion,” he said after the celebration of the 13th Anniversary of XL in Jakarta, Friday (16/10 / 2009).

According to Hasnul, although the current conversations and SMS rates have fallen about 86 percent since the year 2007, but the margin could still rise XL with various efficiencies were made.
