Still Hoping XL 3G Frequency Rates Down

One operator who still have the desire to add to 3G frequency is XL. But they expect the price offered by the government could fall.

“God willing, we will ask for additional 3G next year. For indeed, we are still not urgent needs,” said President Director of XL Hasnul, at a press conference, the FX Plaza, Jakarta, Friday (16/10/2009).

Regarding the price the government offered to increase the frequency of 3G for Rp160 billion, Hasnul implicitly accept the price, although he hopes could come down.

“About the price offered, for Rp160 billion, we still accept it, but hopefully it can still come down,” he added.

XL itself this year to focus more on building the BTS. No wonder the number of BTS their second largest in Indonesia, which is approximately 18,128 units of BTS.
